We reserved the VIP experience. Exceptional. We were honored to enjoy a brief tour with the Owner. She was so generous in sharing her passion and legacy of Flamenco. I booked this for my husband's birthday. We agree it was an unforgettable evening with wonderful dancing, a delicious multi-course dinner and unique glimpse into flamenco heritage. We went to 6pm dinner and if I had to do it again, we would have arrived a couple of hours earlier so we could explore the unique location of shops as this area was built as a World Fair site.Absolutely amazing authentic flamenco show. The food is really nice, sangria is flowing and the staff are all really friendly, can’t recommend it enough! Such a bargain for the price.

I had some trepidation upon entering Tablao de Carmen in anticipation of dinner and the Flamenco show. After reading prior reviews I still was not convinced that the dinner and show would be anything more than your typical highly commercial touristy- trap evening of mediocre food and entertainment. Well was I and my wife,brother-in-law and sister-in-law pleasantly surprised by the delectable food, enjoyable wine and sangria, and sensational Flamenco music and dancing. Tablao de Carmen is a fairly intimate space so every seat is not-too-far from the stage. Special commendation goes to our waitress. I feel badly that I don’t know her name, but she is the sassy redhead. She apologetically informed my wife and sister-in-law that the restaurant had run out of gazpacho, which naturally greatly disappointed them. However, several minutes later the waitress appeared with two bowls of gazpacho in her hands, pronouncing that she was determined to find more gazpacho so as to not disappoint my wife and sister-in-law. My recommendation: if you plan to be in Barcelona, DON’T miss Tablao de Carmen !What a great experience that you can not miss! Located in the Spanish Village. Be sure you get there early so you can walk around and enjoy all that Spanish Village has to offer. Tablao had good food, wine and entertainment!

The food was decent but nothing spectacular but the music and dancing made up for it.
