What to expect
Our Wild Dolphin Encounters will take you into the Bay of Plenty to search for the common dolphin and other marine wildlife. We do not have a set route, but follow the most comfortable pattern with regards to wind and weather to find a pod of dolphins for our encounter.

Saw lots of dolphins from the bow of the boat. Did the swim but didn’t see many dolphins in the water - that part of the trip wasn’t as good as I’d hoped.

Mamas and their babies were so neat to see. Tane, Lizzy and Jane were our fabulous crew. Knowledgable and organised yet relaxed and fun! Great value for money. We were out there for nearly 6 hours. Highly recommend this trip.

We went on this tour as part of our honeymoon and loved it. I get sea sick and taking gravol helped about 90% but I still had some unpleasant moments because the boat moves so much, just as a heads up. It was totally worth it though to see the dozens of dolphins jumping around the boat. We have been swimming with dolphins that were penned and there was a sadness to that experience. Knowing that these dolphins are wild and free and that we did not interfere with them in any way was a good feeling. The crew was all awesome as well! We highly recommend this company for this experience.
