On this tour we visit wineries that are all family owned, and have been hand-picked for their quality and historic contribution to the region (and their amazing wine, of course). Get off the regular beaten tourist path away from the crowds as you get access to wineries that won't accommodate the big tour buses.
Discover the real gems of the Swan Valley with fellow wine lovers and take time to discuss the wines – sometimes with the winemaker themselves – so you can get to know the locals and learn about the Swan Valley.
All wine tastings are included in your tour, sample all the signature varietals of the region and even a few you may not know of. Most of the wines you will try are produced small batch, so the only place you can find them is at the cellar door.
You will also enjoy a delicious platter featuring a selection of local cheeses and condiments to compliment your wine tasting.

From the time of making contact Paul was on the ball keeping us informed. He arrived on time at our hotel with just three others in the party. Our first impression was very favourable and left us confident that we'd have a good afternoon and that's just what we got. Paul had selected four of the many wineries in the Valley, all producing an interesting range of wine but more importantly all with excellent presenters. Personally I'm an experienced wine lover, quite knowledgable and found it very satisfying to be able to talk wine with young enthusiasts. A great way to spend an afternoon. It was a very hot day (around 40C in the Valley) but Paul had a cooler to slake our thirsts (water only!) and air conditioning in his van. Paul is very personable but in a quiet way and is very knowledgable about the region. The tour Paul runs is best suited to those with a genuine interest in wine and a wish to get an overall view of what the Swan Valley produces (its is one of Australia's lesser known wine regions). What an amazing half day experience for my husband and I in our first trip to Perth. Wonderful small group of lovely, interesting people and Paul was an amazing, organised and communicative host. His knowledge and passion for the industry was on show, but he absolutely let the producers and products speak for themselves. Great value, definitely drank more than I should have and had to re-jig our luggage to fit all our purchases, but it was 100% worth it.
