The coach has 26 years of surfing experience and great local knowledge, as well as certified courses. The school is registered in tourism of Portugal as well as Portuguese Surf Federation and legalized in the Captaincy of the Port of Lagos

What to expect
It will be the beach where you will do the activity, but under sea conditions we may have to change, here we can learn to surf and see one of the most beautiful beaches of the Vincentian coast, it will undoubtedly be a day well spent and a great experience.

I was in a group of 3 people, so Duarte taught us individually some tips to keep getting beter. He kept us calm and motivated us when we went under water 😅 I really enjoyed it & highly recommand him! Duarte is very passionate, and provides a personal approach for learning you to surf. A big advantage of working in small groups is that he is able to focus on you individually, and correct you were needed. My girlfriend and I wanted to try surfing on our holiday. I had already "some experience" from a surf camp, while she had none. I can honestly say I learned more in a day with Duarte then from a week on surf camp. He had to correct my "technique", but at the end of the day I was able to make a lot of progress. As for my girlfriend, she had her doubts in her capabilities but enjoyed it very much and was able to surf as well. We only had 1 day of lessons, but we will definitely return!We surfed three times with Duarte during our week stay in the west Algarve. Absolutely loved it! Duarte is a cool guy. With Duarte's expertise and teaching you'll have the best chance of catching wave after wave after wave and developing a solid technique. In summary... Duarte was the best! We were a family of mixed abilities (beginners to intermediates 22-59yrs ). He took us to the best spots each day, matching the surf conditions to the abilities of the group. My father had been struggling with taking too long to stand up. Many instructors before had failed to help him in this regard. But Duarte showed him a new technique and he’s improved massively. Despite our group being varied in ability he was able to help each one of us individually. Couldn’t recommend more. Regardless of your level if you’re looking for a surf instructor in the Algarve he’s your man !The teacher was clearly passionated. He gave good explanations. He knew the area well and was on time.
