Angelo was our tour guide. 4 in our group, included 2 kids, 12 and 10 ( boy and girl who weighed 88 and 99 lbs) We arrived about 15 minutes early and got all the paperwork and helmets picked out. Really liked that they had a bathroom so we could all go right before we left and when we got back. We then had instruction time. Kids caught on fast and us old folks took a few extra minutes. Angelo had great instructions and tricks and tips on what ‘not’ to do. We felt very comfortable riding them after we were taught. We took off and went to Seawall first, then made our way downtown to the docks. We got to see several of the oak tree carvings and Angelo took several pictures of all of us through the trip. We also go to see several dolphins while telling us about the tallest ship. Angelo knew quite a bit of history , he has lived in Galveston his whole life. We got to ride through the Medical school college and through the strand. It was about 60 degrees, my daughters feet were hurting ( don’t wear heels) so Angelo got us back before she really started to whine. It took about 1:45 min. Both my kids said they loved it and would do it again. Which they never say about any of the things I put them through. However, this was a hit! We also got 50% off coupons to use at another future Segway Tour.Angelo was an amazing guide—we learned so much about Galveston. Both my husband & myself had never been on a Segway; Angelo took the time to teach us & riding turned out to be so easy—even for uncoordinated me! Don’t miss this wonderful tour when visiting Galveston!

My son always wanted to do a Segway tour but was too young, but when we traveled to Galveston he would be 15 and old enough. We booked the tour for the three of us and had a great time. My son and wife took to the Segway's easy I needed a few more minutes to get comfortable but had a great time during this nearly two hour tour. We had never been to Galveston before and had just arrived a couple of hours prior to our tour. The tour covered the old town/strand area, historical houses, the wood carvings, the seawall and beach area and finally sunset. Angelo was our guide and was great, can't reccommend this tour enough, fun and gave us a great understanding of the areaThe Segway Tour was so much fun! Our guide (I can't remember her name at this moment) was SO informative and nice! She made sure we were all comfortable with the Segway and understood how to ride them in the street! I would definitely recommend this tour!
