Glenn loves Alaska and he loves photography. A winning combination for a most enjoyable sunset photo tour. He explained things about our camera that we didn’t know and gave great hints to take better photos. We rounded the corner at Potter’s Marsh and came upon an eagle posing for us. Glenn ran back to get his camera and take photos too. It was magical. Glenn seemed like he was having as much fun as we were and that made it even better for us. I highly recommend this tour. It was probably one of our favorite things about our trip to Alaska. Plus we have high quality photos to share with our family and friends! This was one of the best excursions I took in Alaska. Saw the most amazing sights and took great photos!!

Carl uses the natural beauty of the Anchorage area to assist photographers in capturing great photos. You never know what you will run into - while at the Flattop Mountain parking area to take photos of the sunset over downtown, what do we see but a cow moose and her yearling calf!! The sunset was beautiful but the moose were exciting to see. We also went to the marsh and one of the lakes where the sea planes take off. Great evening to spend with an expert willing to share his talent - he is very patient with those of us who are total amateurs. We had a great small group tour with Jody, who despite the rain forged ahead and brought us to some great spots just outside of Anchorage. We had a great small group tour with Jody, who despite the rain forged ahead and brought us to some great spots just outside of Anchorage. Despite no animals being seen (and Jody tried hard to find them), we got a chance to do long exposures (my favorite) and see some incredible places, like Potters Marsh. Great expertise shared, she had spare tripods and other gear for people who needed them, even had snacks for our evening tour. Highly recommended, even if you are not so into photography, the places she will take are you breathtaking!
