Itinerary

Kaikoura's Original Kayak Operator - Est 1998
Watch seals dive and maneuver around and under your kayak as the sunsets and have surreal visuals of the seaward Kaikoura Mountains as the light changes towards the end of the day.
Paddle gently along with them as they swim around the Kaikoura Peninsula hunting for their favorite feed of Octopus.
But be sure to keep your distance as they devour their delicious dinner in front of you, then watch in amazement as for the light show in the bay.
This adventure around the beautiful coastal waters takes in the breath-taking views of sheer cliff faces, craggy rocks and mountain ranges while searching for chance encounters with Dusky Dolphins and Blue Penguins.
This fun tour is suitable for all ages and abilities and doesn't require any previous kayaking experience.
These professionally guided kayaking expeditions adhere to the highest of safety standards.

I was unprepared and they told me what to bring and I ran back to the hotel to get my water, water shoes and sunscre...

That was an amazing experience for us both. The team was caring and helpful and it was a lot of fun. We saw seals but they didn’t swim next to us.

Our guide, Ru, checked with the group to make sure what we all wanted to do and gave us the opportunity to paddle in the deeper water and the swells and ensured we were all safe. We happened to see d...

We watched seals and then went out further and experienced lots of fish coming up to the surface. He understood ou...

All wildlife watching cruises were cancelled that day because of the bad weather conditions but this tour operator decided to go for kayaking anyway. When we aske...

They were both very kind and welcoming, and also very knowledgeable about the sea life and surrounding area. I felt safe the entire time as they expressed multiple times that our safety was key. We...
