We make our first outdoor stop and take the time to meet each other & taste our first fresh cold beer. We then begin the walking portion of the tour and head into the neighbourhoods.
We discover hidden streets & non-touristy sights, share beer history & shed a light on the current craft been scene of Crete.
We make our way through the Western Old Town.

Sitting down at one of Chania's iconic restaurants for our beer tasting session. We share the secrets of beer, the tasting techniques, matched with local food pairings to accompany our Craft beer samples.

Stop At: Lighthouse of Chania, Old Market near Prince Bank, , Chania Town, Crete 731 32 Greece
Viewing the sunset from the iconic Chania's Venetian Old Harbour. We taste three craft beer samples outdoors before, during & after the sunset time, while we enjoy the stunning colors of the sky and a unique view of the port.

Stop At: Akti Enoseos, Chania, Greece
Our final stop brings us to a non-touristy local pub-bar with a big selection of Greek craft beers.
We taste a full beer according to your beer profile, paired with street-food snack ( vegetarian options also )

An all around great tour -- highly recommended. Crete has a budding beer culture and this tour is the gateway into it. You're guided in how to think about beer while you get to drink it in picturesque locations around Chania. Do this if you enjoy beer!

Fabulously hospitable hosts in a wonderful town. Having only had Mythos beer previously this was a delightful exposure to good beer of Crete. Fabulously hospitable hosts in a wonderful town. Having only had Mythos beer previously this was a delightful exposure to good beer of Crete. Small group creates an intimate setting; the walk around town and the Food pairings were phenomenal. Loved sitting on the sea wall at the Victorian lighthouse and trying a really good beer while looking at the full moon. I left the group feeling like I had made new friends. Hosts are personable and really keep you involved during tastings - challenging my taste buds and olfactory senses while also letting me just enjoy. Highly recommend.loulam344

Marie Claire and Stelios are extremely welcoming and knowledgeable - it was fascinating to learn about the history of beer production, the particular ingredients and flavours and about the craft beer scene on Crete. There are a number of beers to try and the stop off points are excellent- the first involves trying a variety of local dishes along with the beers - after this we went to the harbour which is a perfect spot for a beer followed by a local bar/pub. It's a great way to spend an evening and would recommend to anyone visiting Chania (whether or not a beer lover!).440perrya

This experience was much better than even imagined! While I take my wife to many breweries she is by no means a “beer person” but MC did a wonderful job including her in our more technical beer discussions and explaining differences between each beer and food pairing in a way we both appreciated....
