Way too expensive!!! They just drop you and pick you up. Nothing more!! Find something cheaper or take a taxi. So disappointed!! Contacted operator for at least a partial refund. Haven't heard anything. Don't book with this agency.

Sumidero Canyon is amazing, but the organization and communication of the tour operator was an absolute disaster. First bit of frustration was the hotel pick up. A van came to my hotel shortly after my designated pick up time. But the driver said the tour wasn't for me and that he was picking up someone else. I told him my name, the tour I booked and the tour operator, and he insisted that he was not there to pick me up. He sat in the van and made phone calls. I then received phone calls saying the van was at my hotel and waiting for me. It was the van with the driver who turned me away. I then insisted I was supposed to be on the tour and climbed aboard. I paid extra and booked the English version of the tour, because my Spanish is extremely limited. The tour operator put me on a packed full Spanish tour. 3 maskless others squished against me in the bag seat.. The guide/driver didn't speak any English. I wasted that extra money spent on the English version and am waiting for a refund which still hasn't been credited. One reason I booked this tour was because it was listed as a 6 hour tour. I needed to work a few hours in the afternoon. It ended up taking over 9 hours! Oh, and the driver doing the drop offs was different from the one doing pick ups. So, at the end of the tour the driver had no clue where to drop me off and he didn't understand me each time I told him which hotel I was staying in. Finally, one of the Spanish speaking tourists in the van explained it to him.We booked the tour as we wanted to have All the information about the Canyon and the surroundings so we decided to pay alot extra for an english guide. We booked the tour as we wanted to have All the information about the Canyon and the surroundings so we decided to pay alot extra for an english guide. When er got to the Canyon our "english speaking" guide told us that she would stay on land and wait for us and that the tour was only in spanish. When we were done with the boat tour which is absolutely beautiful and Worth a visit, we went to the city Chiapa de corzo, here our guide said that we could walk around freely for 1,5 and then we would go home. Afterall she decided to follow ud around the city and tried to explain some things but it was very difficult to understand. So All in All not Worth it to go there with a tour and deffinetely dont pay extra for an english speaking guide as there is no guided tour. Go there by yourself and buy the boat tour at the Harbor then go to the city because its deffinetely Worth a visit but not Worth it to spend 3 times as much on a tour with No guide.Driver and guides were Juan and Johan (who spoke English and Spanish). Driver and guides were Juan and Johan (who spoke English and Spanish). Pick up was on time. First was the boat ride 2 hours along canyon highlight of the time here seeing waterfalls, crocodiles and even spotted spider monkeys. Next we went to Chiapa de Corzo, a Magical Town, one hour to look around. I went to the plaza and church and walked around to see the shops. Lunch was afterwards and was great, in a buffet place for $150 pesos not including drinks. Lastly Sumidero Canyon viewpoints 3 of 5 that you can drive to. Actually inside the National park. Stunning views. Long day 9:30-5:30 but worth it. Bring bug spray!
