Obwohl ich aus Stuttgart komme, habe ich mich dieses Jahr dazu entschieden auch einmal eine City Tour mit einer kleinen Gruppe durch die Stadt zu machen. Gewählt haben wir die blaue Tour, da diese von der Streckenführung und den Haltestellen die interessantere der beiden Touren ist. Sie führt einmal quer durch die Stadt bis hinaus in den Neckarpark und hinauf auf den Killesberg (die genaue Routenführung kann online eingesehen werden). Der angebotene Audio-Guide ist auch als Stuttgarter sehr informativ und kurzweilig aufbereitet. Es werden alle "gängigen" Sprachen und auch eine schwäbische Version angeboten. Die Kopfhörer sind leider qualitativ sehr schlecht, reichen aber für die ca. 2-stündige Tour (noch) aus. Schöner wären da etwas hochwertigere Modelle. Auch die Wahl der Sehenswürdigkeiten und Wahrzeichen hat uns überzeugt, da sowohl die Stuttgarter Klassiker wie Hauptbahnhof, Liederhalle und Mercedes-Benz-Arena als auch etwas "unbekanntere" Orte wie der Wilhelmsplatz, der Eugenplatz oder Stuttgart-Ostheim ihren Platz auf der Tour finden. Manche Straßen sind jedoch nichts für schwache Nerven, da man bei deren Anblick nicht glauben mag, dass dort ein Doppeldecker-Bus ohne Kollision durchpasst (ein Kompliment an den Busfahrer!). Zu empfehlen ist, die Karten im voraus online zu kaufen, da sowohl das Anstehen an der Tour-Info als auch der "Zwang", am Hauptbahnhof die Tour zu beginnen, wegfällt. Alles in allem eine gelungene Tour! Für ca. 18€ pro Person auch für Einheimische durchaus lohnenswert.Ich wollte schon immer mal mit dem Doppeldeckerbus fahren, obwohl ich selbst aus Stuttgart bin und die Stadt gut kenne, habe ich die blaue Tour gewählt. Ich wollte schon immer mal mit dem Doppeldeckerbus fahren, obwohl ich selbst aus Stuttgart bin und die Stadt gut kenne, habe ich die blaue Tour gewählt. Lustigerweise gab es auch „Schwäbisch“. Das hat mir sehr gut gefallen und ich habe tatsächlich durch ein paar Anekdoten Dinge über die Stadt erfahren, die ich nicht wusste. Die Sitze waren nicht ganz so bequem, aber das Erlebnis war es wert.Great experience, my daughter and I got off the bus at three stops, which took us four hours overall on the trip. If you start later in the day and what to stop to see museum or something else it really shortens your availability to take other bus routes they offer. Blue line gave us beuatiful views of the entire city.
