Your guide from Bath Insider Tours will collect you from your preferred pick-up point in Bath and will drive you, by private vehicle, to Stonehenge approximately 1 hour away.

At Stonehenge you will have a private tour of the famous stone circle where you will have lots of opportunities to take photos of one of Britain's most internationally recognised landmarks.
Your guide will explain about its history, how archaeologists believe it was constructed and will tell you interesting stories behind the site as well as the latest discoveries. The exact purpose of Stonehenge remains a mystery so at the end of your visit you can form your own opinion!
After visiting Stonehenge you will be driven back to your preferred drop-off location in Bath. You will have approximately 1.5 - 2 hours at Stonehenge.

Daniel picked us up at our accommodations in Bath and drove us to Stonehenge for a personal tour. We skipped through all the lines and check-points, thanks to Daniel's knowing the magic passwords. He kept the kids (8 & 10) interested and engaged throughout the afternoon. As it was a bank holiday, they were having a special event at Stonehenge, and the Gnomus giant puppet was there to perform--an unexpected treat for the kids. On the way back to Bath, Daniel drove us past the Westbury White Horse carved into the chalk of the hillside. Definitely a far better way for us to have seen Stonehenge than if we had rented a car or tried to get there via public transit or in a larger group. This was ideal. Daniel brought me from Bath to Stonehenge for an Inner Circle Tour at sunset. From the beginning Daniel was an excellent communicator as we determined what would be the best way to shape my tour. He responded quickly to questions and took on all aspects of scheduling the tour so I could sit back and enjoy (exactly what I needed). During the drives back and forth, Daniel made a point to share information about places we were passing that might be of interest. He took a scenic route and we stopped at the Westbury White Horse. A breathtaking view and nice addition to the tour. At Stonehenge, Daniel walked me around the Visitor Center exhibits summarizing and giving additional information. He answered my questions in a friendly chatty way. On the way and at the Circle, Daniel was a wealth of information and a great personal photographer ;) I learned so much of the known information about the transitions to the Stonehenge monument over time. Daniel’s enthusiasm for the place and its incredible history was evident throughout the tour. He is kind, professional, knowledgeable—an excellent tour guide. My wife and I had a fantastic private tour of Stonehenge with Daniel of Bath Insider Tours. He arrived a few minutes before the scheduled pick up time at our hotel in Bath. Stonehenge is about an hour away and the drive was full of easy and informative conversation. The tour started at the Stonehenge visitor center and Daniel was able to greatly augment the details provided in the exhibit. He answered every question we had and we learned a great deal. On our way back to the hotel he was nice enough to make an unplanned bonus stop at the Westbury White Horse for some amazing pictures.. We recommend Daniel and Bath Insider Tours without reservation and will absolutely use his services again the next time we're in the area.
