Stargaze in the wild! Experience the nature and culture of this ancient volcanic island. Observe the Stars, Planets, Moon and other celestial objects slowly moving through the night sky! Learn basic astronomy and connect to the magic of nature!
If you are really lucky you will catch a shooting star!

- Telescope and Laser pointer. Also a rug and blanket for each person.
What to expect
Let's go Stargazing! A chance to experience the beauty and complexity of the night sky. The observation is 1.5/2 hours long, with telescope and Laser pointer. Your Star Guide will take you on a journey through the night sky above you! We observe from the Dunes of Corralejo, with the sound of the Ocean to accompany us. Everyone is given a rug and blanket to lie down and Look Up! There is a 5 mins walk into the Dunes to where we make the observation. Please note, if you have any mobility issues we recommend the Los Molinos Observation where there is not much walking.

- we do walk on the lose sands of the Dunes for 5 mins, walking issues might be a problem
- We observe outside. There is plenty of space for social distancing
- This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund
- This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund

She picked us up from Corralejo and drove us to the observation point. The second time I also did the meal and wine tasting, it was lovely to try traditional canarian food. This is one of the best holiday experiences we have ever booked. Karen is so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the night sky that you cannot help but be engrossed and amazed. Fuerteventura is a great spot for star gazing with big, open, dark skies and the dunes and I would thoroughly recommend booking an evening with Karen if you are travelling there. Seeing Saturn's rings so clearly was absolutely incredible. Our only disappointment was that we could not fit another of her Stars by Night experiences into our holiday.
