Great time, a must do while in Antigua! We had a great time with the other couples as well. It was very adventurous. We even got to take a dip in the ocean.

It’s about 2 hours of driving the backroads and then about 30 minutes at one of the beaches to sit back and relax. Expect lots of dirt and mud. Buggies could probably use an upgrade but overall was great.

Let's start with the good- it was definitely a fun adventure as we scooted around the area on Antigua. At times it was a little slow, but at times it was fast, and fun. We drove up some steep hills and embankments and coasted down some steep rocky roads, frequently keeping to offroad trails that this adventure was designed for. The fact that it was very dry is no fault of the operators- it hadn't rained in a while, and we spent a lot of time clearing kicked up dust and dirt from our eyes as we drove. However, there were some problems with the tour. We were grouped with 2 other couples. We were given warnings about how easily the Buggy's could overhead, and he pointed to 5 buggies whose engines had blown due to the heat. As they started the vehicles, one of the workers came to our vehicle, popped the hood, and manually wired the fan to the battery- which had to be manually connected/disconnected the few times we stopped (like at the beach). But it wasn't just our buggy that had problems- the buggy for one couple had a sticky accelerator, so they switched out. Another vehicle lost a wheel about 1/4 into the trip. Lastly, the adventure seemed rather short- we expected more driving time and were a little disappointed at the end. Overall, these vehicles seem to be poorly maintained and at risk of falling apart during your adventure. Although we did have fun, we did not feel secure in this adventure, and it is certainly over-priced for the value we received.Equipment could use an upgrade but it made it through. Was more dusty than muddy but we had a nice time. Our guide did a good job to accommodate us all.

Booked this excursion while in Antigua on our honeymoon & was highly disappointed. First, our hotel has two lobbies, we went to the one closest to our room at the agreed upon pick up time & waited. After waiting 10 min, our hotel staff said we were at the wrong lobby & they left us. The lack of communication between the driver & the hotel was really frustrating. We were later told by other participants, that the driver didn’t speak to the hotel staff at all before driving off. I expressed my frustration & our hotel staff said we could pay for a taxi out there & they’d wait for us, which we took them up on because they denied our request for a refund. First, the carts need to be replaced- they’re essentially a death trap. Our seat belts didn’t work & our guides wheel literally popped off his car. Everyone riding had some complaint about their brakes, gas pedal, etc. Further, the beach they took you to was beautiful, but 2/3 of the ride is looking at tied up, emaciated cows/bulls. Not my idea of scenery. I think you’d be better off booking at trip with another company. I did something similar in Aruba last night & the professionalism between the companies was night & day. What a GREAT tour!! The ride was so much fun. Started out Clean and dry but soon got into the wet lands with mud flying up from the tires then a down pour of rain. Be sure to wear something you don't value much. You'll have a great time. The guide was awesome and most helpful.
