Very nice combo with Safari and private boat to the hotspot of the region, Explore the mountains and valleys, passing the small villages in the mountains. learn how olive oil is made at our stop at an olive oil factory with a free guided tour. Coming back through the mountains we will have some amazing views over the Gulf of Mirabello and the historical island of Spinalonga. At the village of Plaka, our fast private speedboat are wait for you to transfer you to Spinalonga. (Entrance fee to the island not included, has to be payed on the island).

here we board our private motorboat to go to the island of Spinalonga

Stop At: Spinalonga (Kalydon), Elounda Bay, Elounda, Crete 720 53 Greece
You will go with our speedboat to the island of Spinaloga, away from mass tourism. On the island, you will enjoy about 1 hour
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Path to Milatos Cave, Milatos, Crete 724 00 Greece
You will enter the caves (about 10 minutes walk) and our guide will tell you all about the history and the dramas happend in the cave. You will never forget this.

The tour wasn't bad it was just different than what I expected. It was a self guided tour on Spinalonga which was disappointing for me because I was interested in the history of the place. We basically got lost looking for spots and eventually gave up and decided to go back to the jeep. The drive to the caves was long, about 1 hr. (again something I didn't expect). It was hot as well. On the positive notes, Thomas was friendly and did his best on the tour. He took us to a nice restaurant, monastery, and an olive oil place which was a pleasant surprise.Fantastic day. Fabio, our guide, was knowledge, funny and relaxed. The private boat to Spinalonga is great, missing all the queuing and waiting associated with the large tour trips. The speedboat to Spinalonga was the perfect way to visit the island with great views on the approach and also meant we didn’t have to wait in the long lines to get back on a bigger boat. Lunch at a local restaurant was good quality and our 1st experience of Raki!Such a great trip! Ralf was a great guide, lively and funny with lots of knowledge. The short speedboat ride was fun.
