Join this tour to see and experience natural wonders that are almost almost out of this world! Sólheimajökull is an outlet of Mýrdalsjökull, the 4th biggest glacier in Iceland.

- Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately
- Minimum age is 8 years
- Good hiking shoes are necessary
- Please be at the starting location 15 minutes prior to tour departure.
- Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
- Hand sanitizer available to travelers and staff
- Regularly sanitized high-traffic areas
- Gear/equipment sanitized between use
- Transportation vehicles regularly sanitized
- Guides required to regularly wash hands
- Paid stay-at-home policy for staff with symptoms

Nate was our guide and his experience with climbing, hiking, skiing, paragliding, etc. from all over the world made him knowledgeable and relatable. He took great care for each member of our small group including being multi-lingual and spoke the language of each party. This made communications easy for all and fascinating to be a part of. We were taught about the glacier, how they form, shrink/grow, shown crevasses and moulins as well as everything else we could safely encounter. Our group ranged in age from 20s-50s and all levels of fitness which made it comfortable and not overtly complicated. I would highly recommend Troll for the glacier walk, but especially appreciate Nate’s involvement and personality!!It was an amazing experience to hike the glacier together with Alex. We would recommend to book an early tour, so you are on the glacier with fewer people. We were alone with the guide on the whole glacier! It was an amazing experience to hike the glacier together with Alex. We would recommend to book an early tour, so you are on the glacier with fewer people. We were alone with the guide on the whole glacier! Alex organised the tour especially for us so we could take a different route from standard, so it was a little more challenging and built in some nice tweaks like drinking water like a Viking and put on a volcanic mask. Thank you very much!This was a really great walk even for me a local icelander this was my first walk on the glacier and i loved all the imformation that alex gave us about it i would higly recamend to take this walk and ask for alex he was a fantastic guid
