Stop At:

• The Green Trails, Tideliusgatan 62, Stockholm 118 69 Sweden

Additional information

  • It’s an active excursion so don't dress too warm, but bring an extra layer for when standing still! It's best to have clothing that dries up quickly, so avoid cotton if possible! Wool and polyester (often seen in sport specific clothing) are best. Dressing in many layers is recommended over having one thick layer. This provides better insulation and it's easier to take off one layer when you're too warm.
  • Please remember that the weather conditions are out of our control, and there is no snow guarantee. However last winter season (January - March 2020) we only had one excursion without snow!
  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • This is a winter hiking excursion. If the snow level demands the use of snowshoes we will use these. Otherwise we use ice grip cleats under our boots.
  • Near public transportation
  • Most travelers can participate
  • Wear appropriate footwear. High sneackers, hiking boots are ok
  • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 8 travelers
  • Confirmation will be received at time of booking

My friend and I joined the snow shoe hiking trip this week. Eric is a very resourceful guide. He showed us ways to identify animals with their footprints, taught us some surviving skills and outdoor cooking skills. We were lucky as it snowed a lot the previous day. It was really peaceful at the n...

This was overall a really great experience! We couldn't do the snowshoe as there wasn't enough snow, but we did it by foot and it was as great. Walking on the lake, the lunch by the fire, the group we were with all made this an experience I definitely recommend. Pierre was our wonderful guide and...

He gently encouraged without coercion and made me feel very comfortable about following him onto the ice. I’ve got great memories of this day. The soup at lunch time w...

We saw many animal tracks (no real animals unfortunately) and crossed two frozen lakes. Cosy campfire with great food from the restaurant where we met in...

Lucy and I did a mini break in Stockholm for 3 nights/4 days. As well as the City and the museums (Vasa, Nobel, ABBA, etc) we wanted to take in some Swedish culture, food AND nature! Given the Tyresta National Park is less than 30 mins away by car - it seemed obvious. So, we had a full day of hik...
