This was a great trip - long travel time though. Tour guide was professional even when we were stuff at the traffic at night, she still organized our stop for rest room. I would recommend this tour.

It was a whole day event. Check in was efficient. Ride was comfortable. Lunch was great. The drive to the snow monkey park was far and the walk could not tricky with the snow especially walking down hill - could be very slippery - Suggested to buy the spikes for the shoes which the guide would offer to you. The snow park was not big but it was cute to see the monkeys and if you are luck and patient, you might see them in the onsen. Ride back was long as we got into the traffic so suggest you do not plan anything in the evening. Overall, it was a great experience. Worth the money.Although it is a long bus ride (3hours there and back) it’s definitely worth it. The tour guide was lovely and I had a great time 👍

When I think of Japan, Mt. Fuji, sumo wrestlers, sushi, kabuki, and of course snow monkeys! So I had to see before I left this beautiful country. It was well organized, stops along the way, lunch, and a walk through the forest. On your way back to the bus I recommend getting a muffin from the cafe, they were delicious.. they have other things such as chicken and fries, etc. All in all it was a long day but worth it and the tour guide was very nice. Also, bring something to entertain yourself because the bus ride is about 4 hours there and then you come back, so you'll be on the bus quite a bit.We were a bit cautious with this trip since there were only 2 reviews on it. We were a bit cautious with this trip since there were only 2 reviews on it. To start of we we've 3 boys - 15, 13, and 7. We were planning on taking a train ride to any of the snowy areas near Tokyo for them to experience snow for the first time. But since it was December 31, the closest place to go was Nagano. Luckily we found this option. And, yes, as the description says it's hassle free. There were breaks during the 3-4hr trip to Nagano and back. The sukiyaki lunch was wonderful! Good preparation for the 30-40mins enchanting walk to the Snow Monkey park. We were blessed with great weather - sunshine and the snow that fell the day before was light and powdery. The path was a bit slippery due to ice so bring proper shoes. Else, there is a shop before the hike where you can rent some. The Monkeys themselves seemed to be used to the attention and did not mind walking around and through the tourists. Just remember the rules they posted before the engagement area. Again, overall, a safe, efficient, comfortable and hassle-free trip to Nagano from Tokyo. The long bus trip was definitely worth seeing all the cute monkeys. The lunch was great and the views going to the monkey park were amazing. Our tour guide KITAZAWA Kenji was very friendly and accommodating
