What to expect
Seals, Sea Lions, Leopard Sharks, Sea Turtles, Lobsters, Garibaldi, Water Birds, and tons of other sea life that make the La Jolla Cave and surrounding reefs their home! We'll pass many free diving spots on the way to the Famous Emerald Cave that we'll swim into! Guests MUST know how to swim :)
MEETING LOCATION: We'll meet at our shop: La Jolla Cove Market - where we'll suit up! It's a quick walk to where we'll jump into the water. There is a big sign that says MARKET, or: 8008 Girard Ave, Suite 190, La Jolla.
This tour involves swimming throughout the cove and into the water cave. Our wetsuits are very buoyant, but guests MUST know how to swim as there is no life jackets available in the cove because its a protected wildlife area.

- Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
- All gear is intensely sanitized before each rental.
- This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund
- This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund

We did enjoy it the best that we could.It was cancelled at the last minute. We showed up and we were told the tour guide had cancelled. We really wanted to do it. They said viator would give us a refund.
