Terminal Tower has had a storied history over the years: from hostage situations to serving as a lighthouse for ships on Lake Erie.

Stop At: Cuyahoga County Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument, 3 Public Sq, Cleveland, OH 44114-2221
The Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument is the visual representation of those troops and it serves as an active tally of all who helped end slavery and reunite the country.

With a street level full of venues, many of the now apartments above were home to the costume and prop shops that Cleveland's 900, 000 residents depended on for entertainment.

My kids don't normally like sightseeing but this tour was a great way to get them to tag along without a fuss. They loved being in charge of the phone (of course) and trying to answer the questions at each of the stops though we did have to help on a lot of them to get the right answer.
