What to expect
Get comfortable while we head over to the Whale Shark refuge area; it will be a short boat ride from the Marina where you will be given a quick briefing and the rules to protect these magnificent fish. Put your wetsuit and snorkeling gear on, and be ready to be amazed. Now it is time to jump in the water and have a close encounter with these docile creatures in their natural habitat. Our experienced and certified Captains and Guides will make sure you have a lifetime experience. Live this unbelievable experience with us and scratch it off your bucket list!

We did the 9am whale shark and sea lion snorkeling tour in early December 2022. Our guide, Stephanie, was the best. Please note, the owner was very pleasant to work with. I had my elderly parents with us and they were considerate of all of our needs. We encountered many whale sharks and Stephanie was very knowledgeable and conveyed many interesting facts and provided great context in perfect English. The lunch and snacks provided at Balandra beach were outstanding, especially the fish ceviche. The price was right, you will not be disappointed. Highly recommend this tour. P.S. Juan Carlos is not only a great tour operator he is a host that made us feel at home in La Paz. Stephanie and the crew knew a lot about everything and made sure everyone was engaging with learning about the area. Our visit to Isla Espíritu Santo and Balandra beach were so unique and special! As soon as we got back to port we asked when are you going back out so we could book another trip with Tuna Tuna. Don’t think twice, book with them :) We would give 6 stars and 7 too if it was possible!
