Overview
Join us on a small group tour to beautiful natural monuments near Kutaisi! At the spectacular Prometheus cave, you will walk 1.5 km in a beautiful stalactite and stalagmite cave with impressive natural halls and mesmerizing stalactite shapes. You can take a boat ride in an underground river here! In Okatse we will walk through Dukes Dadiani forest and will see the ruins of their castle. When we reach the canyon, we will walk on an impressive hanging bridge over the canyon (some adrenaline guaranteed! but nothing to be too scared of). One of the top highlights at Martvili canyon is the boat ride in the turquoise river, where you'll enjoy close views of the canyon & maybe spot fishes in clear river water.

Nous avons passé une super journée, intense et riche en expériences. Notre guide Alex nous a conduit sur les différents sites tout au long de la journée et nous en avons profité pour échanger avec lui. II connaît très bien son pays et sa culture. Nous avons passé une super journée, intense et riche en expériences. Notre guide Alex nous a conduit sur les différents sites tout au long de la journée et nous en avons profité pour échanger avec lui. II connaît très bien son pays et sa culture. N'hésitez pas à lui poser des questions il aura toujours le plaisir de vous répondre. Concernant les activités : Martvili Canyon : Localisé a environ 1h de Kutaisi, le Canyon Martvili se fait en bateau gonflable et/ou à pied et dure environ 10-15 min, c'est peu mais les paysages sont vraiment beaux. Alex nous a ensuite emmené sur un chemin pour voir le Canyon de haut et les points de vue étaient impressionnants ! Okatse Canyon: Nous avons ensuite continué avec le Okatse Canyon. Alex vous proposera 2 options pour y accéder: 1) Vous pouvez marcher depuis l'entrée (tourist center). La marche allée fait environ 2.5 km et n'est pas très difficile, majoritairement de la descente. 2) Vous pouvez vous faire conduire directement en 4x4 au Canyon par des locaux pour 50 GEL (par voiture non par personne) donc 100 GEL pour l'aller retour. La route est très sinueuse donc ne vous y aventurez pas avec votre propre vehicule, seuls les locaux sont capables de conduire sur ces routes. Nous avons décidé de faire l'aller à pied et le retour en 4x4 avec un local. Arrivés au Canyon, on marche sur 1,5 km sur un pont suspendu, la vue est à couper le souffle (Si vous avez le vertige facilement ne regardez pas sous vos pieds). Prometheus Cave : Alex nous a ensuite conduit à la Prometheus Cave. La marche dure environ 45 minutes. Il y a énormément de monde donc ne perdez pas de vue le guide si vous voulez écouter ce qu'il a à dire sur le lieu. Les paysages sont superbes. On passe par différentes salles de différentes taille et hauteur avec toutes sortes de stalactites. La température dans la grotte est d'environ 14 °C. A la sortie. Un bus ramène les touristes au parking de l'entrée. Pour terminer Alex nous a proposé d'aller dans un restaurant typiquement georgien peu connu des touristes à 5 min de la grotte. Nous nous sommes régalés pour un prix vraiment abordable, et avons pu partager nos expériences avec notre guide. Nous remercions chaleureusement Alex pour cette journée, pour sa sympathie et pour les échanges qu'on a eu avec lui. Excursion recommandée à 100%!
