The Half moon site was stunning with a rocky landscape with needle fish, anemones, nemo and were lucky to see a small group of squids. The speedboat is spacious and comfortable. Can always kept an eye on us and helped the people who were less comfortable in the water. The Bbq was well organized with so much delicious food. Among our memorable experiences in Phu Quoc island, the private snorkeling charter organized by Onbirds was the best… Our 6-member family was very well taken care by Mr Can, an English speaking tour guide who is also a very professional snorkeling and scuba diving instructor. As all our girls are debutante in snorkeling, Can has patiently trained our group during an one-hour session in the shallow waters of the Hon Thom South Beach. After our girls were well equipped with snorkeling techniques, Can navigated us to the 2 diving sites of Half Moon Reef and Crystal Reef with amazing views of coral and fishes in rocky landscapes. After a 2-hour snorkeling session , we were navigated to the May Rut Trong Island where cold drinks were waiting for us at the bar. After washing ourselves , we were treated to a sumptuous sunset BBQ Dinner with blue crabs, sea shells, slippers prawns, squids and broiled fishes on a sandy beach and in the twilight sun rays… In conclusion, a wonderful sea trip worth of high recommendation ! Snorkeling was very nice, we saw a lot of different corals and fishes. Sunset bbq was amazing: we were almost alone on the beach with delicious fresh cooked seafood and gorgeous sunset. My husband and I travel frequently for business and vacation. The end to end experience we enjoyed was wonderful. The booking experience through WhatsApp was pretty easy. All of our questions and concerns were addressed efficiently. Great English. They also provided us helpful tips to enjoy our trip like wearing light long shirts to minimize use of sunscreen that could damage the coral once in the water. The tour is very ecologically minded which we appreciated even more after seeing trash on certain beach areas and in the water. The snorkeling experience is great even for those who are novices. The guide could do a bit more explaining for how to use the equipment but aside from that he was great. I also did not ask so my bad. The barbecue and drinks on the beach were amazing. If the tour operator could find an even more remote beach area that would be ideal as there were a fair share of loud noisy boats with boatloads of tourists that detracted from the experience. But they had largely left by the time we JD our sundowners so we still had Ana amazing experience. The nighttime boat ride with all of the fishing skiffs in the waters was also exhilarating. All in all my husband and I would highly recommend.
