- Weight Restrictions: Due to FAA regulations, all passengers and bags must be weighed at check-in. For each passenger weighing 240 pounds or more, there is an extra charge. This is for the safety and comfort of all passengers. This is payable directly to the tour operator, no later than, one day before the tour. All passengers are weighed by the helicopter company upon check-in.
- All passenger weights MUST be advised at time of booking. Maximum weight limit of 325 pounds per person. Under representation of body weight may result in cancellation at check-in with no refund.

- To maintain the safety and capacity weight restrictions associated with this tour, individual passengers weighing between 240 lbs (109 kg) and 290 lbs (131 kg) or any two passengers traveling together with a combined weight over 420 lbs (190 kg) will be charged an extra $356.85 payable directly to the tour operator, no later than, one day before the tour. Individual Passengers weighing over 290 lbs (131 kg) will be charged an extra $549.00 payable directly to the tour operator, no later than, one day before the tour.

Guests with heart or respiratory conditions, oxygen tanks, or generators can not participate. Maximum weight limit of 325 pounds per person.

The Road to Hana would not have been fun without Scott, our driver and historian - he was funny, pointed out every detail, made everyone feel comfortable on a windy road (he is a very safe driver), and took amazing photos for all of us. It was a great trip. The helicopter ride back was incredible. Our pilot, Marco Polo (we didn't see his ID so we can't verify if that is his legal name - lol) was also very funny and showed us as much as he could on a very cloudy day. It was my first helicopter ride and because of how awesome it was, I will definitely do it again. This trip is so worth it because you get to do the Road to Hana with a helicopter ride for a great price and it takes about 6 hours.Tamara_S

We did the afternoon tour which starts with the helicopter ride, then lunch, and then stops for the black sand beach and waterfall on the road back from Hana. Chris, our helicopter pilot, and Scotty, our guide, really made sure that we had a wonderful experience the whole time. I went on the tour with my husband and two sons age 8 and 10. I would not recommend this tour for children much longer than that, as it is a long, action-packed day with limited stops, but it was great for our group.Scott_J
