- This tour is a small group experience limited to 15 participants per guide to ensure a more personalized experience
- Not wheelchair accessible
- Minimum age of 8, and minimum shoe size of EUR 35.
- This tour is operated all year round
- You spend approximately 1-1.5 hour on the ice
- The tour is rated as easy so no prior experience is needed
- Not recommended for pregnant travelers

Very friendly and informative, gave us plenty of time at each stop and enough information about Iceland and its history without overwhelming us. He also made sure we made it back to Reykjavik in time for our dinner reservations. Our guide on the glacier was Gaia, very friendly, clearly very enthusiastic about her job and she really took the time to explain about geology and environmental impact on the glaciers around Iceland. We felt safe with her, she made the hike fun and it was definitely the highlight of the trip. Arctic Adventures provided us with all the gear we needed and accommodated for varying strength and fitness levels, so that everyone can enjoy the tour. We were incredibly lucky to have our wonderful and knowledgable tour guide, Nikol, with us. She truly made this entire experience a memorable adventure and even recommended us things to do in the afternoon. She is the reason why we would do the same tour again.
