Overview
Learn the origins of Mahon cheese on a visit to a cheese factory in the hill of Menorca. Hear how the cheese is still produced following traditional methods.
Watch the cheese makers pull the product from the milk vats, and get a behind-the-scenes look at the process of cooking and separating the whey.
After making the cheese, we do a guided tour of the farm where you can interact with the animals. You help us to feed the cows and give the calves their milk.
You will have the chance to make and personalize your own cheese, the detailed guided tour and a tasting of our products.

What to expect
You enter the cheese making room and help us with daily production.
You can also personalize a cheese and we will send it to you once it is cured.
After making the cheese, we do a guided tour of the farm where you can interact with the animals.
You help us to feed the cows and give the calves their milk.
We also explain the traditional farming methods in Menorca. Once the tour has finished you are invited to try the products that we make on the farm.

A brilliant couple of hours seeing the animals, feeding little calves and best of all making cheese. And to top it off the snacks (cheeses, meats, bread, salsa, shortbreads, jam and Binifidet wine) were all locally produced and more than enough for lunch for all of us. Highly recommended p!

We had a good visit, enjoyed making cheese and visiting the farm. Both English and Spanish language was provided for which was helpful. The tasting of the farms produce (cheese, meat and biscuits) was fantastic I would say that beware the personalised cheese (with your name pressed into it) costs around 40 euros, which was not made clear until the end of our visit!We loved this tour! It was so much fun making our own cheese, feeding bottled milk to the calves & learning about the workings of the farm. Afterwards, we enjoyed a fabulous lunch, with a chance to sample various cheeses, meats, home-made produce. Our English speaking guide was fantastic

Schönes Erlebnis für die ganze Familie. Wir waren schon 5 mal auf Menorca und hatten alle Sehenswürdigkeiten schon mehrfach gesehen. Die Käseherstellung und Verkostung war für die ganze Familie ein neues tolles Erlebnis. Wir haben viel gelernt. Unser Großer (11 Jahre) konnte sogar sein Englisch trainieren, so ganz ohne zu mosern. 🤣C’était génial ! Je recommande absolument cette activite traditionnelle et dépaysante. Mention spéciale pour le guide fermier Ivan et sa famille d’une gentillesse et d’une grande pédagogie merci à eux !
