- Approx 1.75mi walking in total including parking and walking to/walking back your vehicle (Recommended Parking on Bidwell Parkway by Elmwood Ave or on Forrest Ave if you are running late)

We'll gather at a starting point and walk south through the beautiful and historic Elmwood Village sampling tasty food from 5-7 establishments. My family is quite experienced with food tours all over WNY and throughout the country and we highly recommend this tour. It combines excellent food/drink options at 6 local restaurants in the Elmwood Village with a little bit of history mixed in. Directions were easy to follow including where to park (be sure to use the suggestion of parking of Bidwell to save yourself time and maybe a little aggravation with street parking on Elmwood). Guide was knowledgeable and interacted with everyone. Maximum of 10 in attendance meant everyone could hear him and experience the full impact of what was offered. All the restaurants offered generous portions - you will not go away hungry. Service at each location was great. Three hour tour was an excellent way to spend a summer afternoon. We look forward to returning to each of the restaurants.I have been on many food tours and this was one of my favorites. Maybe because it was my own hometown, but I truly enjoyed the day. I have been on many food tours and this was one of my favorites. Maybe because it was my own hometown, but I truly enjoyed the day. Adam was a great guide. He was knowledgeable but mostly what I enjoyed was his enthusiasm for our great city. The food stops were delicious. I thought it was very well balanced. Surprisingly one of my favorite stops was the Taste of Siam, I am not familiar with with that culture's food but it was delicious. Of course, you can't beat a beef on weck, and Charlie the Butcher's was probably the best I've ever had. Finishing at Watson's chocolate was fantastic. I highly recommend recommend this tour whether you are visiting Buffalo or if you live there. I hope that Adam expands his business to other neighborhood tours. Our guide Adam was great, he started with some history of Buffalo and spoke about some of the architecture around the city. Then we had 6 different stops to sample various cuisines. Adam was very understanding with regards to any food allergies, etc. Overall, if you're in the area and the time, I'd highly recommend you check this out.
