Awesome tour that I couldn't recommend more. Very casual walk through a beautiful section of forest along a groomed trail. We saw 6 or 7 sloths and got some spectacular photos and knowledge dropped on us by our guide, Rubin. He was extremely energetic and knowledgeable and made the tour very memorable! We were super stoked with all of the sloths we saw and he apologized after for not seeing more. Hard to imagine how we could've seen anymore, it felt like we saw them everywhere we went. This organization should be given credit for all the work they do bringing awareness to sloths and their endangered status. Book a tour! The best part of my experience was our guide, Rueben, who is a total gem of a human being. We were picked up promptly from our resort and they greeted us with smiles! The sloth territory is quite a hike so please make sure to wear comfortable shoes! The guide (I’m so sorry I forgot the name) and team were amazing and patient and had so much knowledge about the sloths and other natural wildlife that inhabited the area. We saw about 5-6 sloths and so many other animals like poisonous frogs and monkeys! We got to view the animals from the binoculars provided by the guide and he even assisted with taking pictures with our phones through the binoculars. We ended the hike with a light snack of local butter cookies and pineapple. My favorite part was seeing these animals in their natural habitat and not held in captivity! Highly recommend! 5 stars!!!!!Our guide, Jason, was awesome! His passion for and knowledge of wildlife was the best part of our experience.
