While strolling in Plaka, we saw a poster advertising the performance and decided to go that evening. We called ahead to make sure and were told that Christina would be at the door, ready with our tickets, perfect! We arrived, greeted by Christina, who was so welcoming. We then took our seats on the rooftop with the fabulous view of the Parthenon lit up just above our heads. The performance captivated from start to finish, and the actors were all amazing. Humor and a little bit of essential Greek tragedy thrown in for good measure! Not forgetting the fabulous costumes and masks, made of course in traditional style. With very few props, the actors set a wonderful scene and put on a hugely entertaining show. They were in their 3rd year when we visited, which is testament to how popular this show has been. Highly recommended!Hilarious at times, touching at others. Absolutely fantastic experience under the splendid view of the Parthenon!
Hilarious at times, touching at others. Absolutely fantastic experience under the splendid view of the Parthenon!Spectacular performance. It's played on a rooftop terrace right at the bottom of Acropolis, which complements the atmosphere. An amazing view, special climate, great people in charge.
