This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: Fenais da Luz, Fenais da Luz, Sao Miguel, Azores
This parish located on the north coast of São Miguel island is where we start and end the tour. After starting our tour on paved roads, we will ride along the seafront of and explore dirt roads in this area.
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Pico da Cruz, Portugal
This is a mountain with an altitude of 845 meters. The breathtaking view is very similar to “Miradouro da Boca do Inferno” but from a higher perspective (accessible with the quads) and even more magnificent due to its altitude. From here you can see Lagoa Rasa, Lagoa de Santiago, Lagoa Verde, Lagoa Azul and a view to the whole crater of Sete Cidades dormant volcano. If weather is good, this one of the high lights of the tour, where we can see almost the whole island from the top.
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Vista do Rei Miradouro, Sete Cidades, Sao Miguel 9555-000 Portugal
Located at an altitude of 540 meters, this viewpoint offers a unique and panoramic view over Sete Cidades crater. Depending on weather and dirt roads conditions we can get to see the same view from a diferent perspective “Miradouro das Cumeeiras”, where we can have an amazing view to the green and blue lake but from the opposite side of the Crater.

Stop At: Miradouro do Cerrado das Freiras, En 9-1a, Sete Cidades, Sao Miguel 9555-000 Portugal
Here you can expect to make some dirt paths that surround the Blue Lagoon in Sete Cidades with incredible views over the lakes.

Stop At: Sao Vicente Ferreira, Sao Vicente Ferreira, Sao Miguel, Azores
Passing on a dirt road aroundThis is a parish located on the north coast of the island of São Miguel. This is one of the transit villages that we pass on the way back to the meeting point. Here we will pass by Poços (bathing area) and the place of the old whale’s factory, disabled since 1970 where only the factory chimney remains. Here we will also make a dirt path that connects this parish to Fenais da Luz. Lagoa Azul.
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Fenais da Luz, Fenais da Luz, Sao Miguel, Azores
Here we get back to where we started, exploring some seafront dirt roads.

Took a chance booking this as my friend and I are both NYC girls not familiar with ATVs - but we had SO MUCH fun! Took a chance booking this as my friend and I are both NYC girls not familiar with ATVs - but we had SO MUCH fun! We were thrilled with the decision to rent the buggy instead of the quad though as it was easy to drive and felt much safer… The guide was amazing and offered great history about the area. He also took a lot of time to make sure everyone understood and felt safe operating their vehicles. The route and scenery were incredible. Can’t say enough good things about this tour - would 100% do it again if I make it back to Sao Miguel! Oh one tip - wear dark clothes - we were filthy by the end!lisay11

We had a great time. It was quite rainy the day that we went, but we came prepared for that. The views were incredible, and the trails were a lot of fun. Would definitely do this again!

Loved the whole trip it was nice to be out in the nature and see so much more in a short period of time. A very safe and easy adventure- even without knowledge of ATV use. A must do for anyone and all ages and would have gone again if we had more time. Owner and his back up driver were attentive,...

A must do for anyone and all ages and would have gone again if we had more time. Owner and his back up driver were attentive, helpful if needed and informative. This was the highlight of our trip to Sao Miguel! Allowed for the use of all senses-sight, smell, feel and hear- taste was a quick stop in the bottom of Sete Cidadides at the green love cafe for a coffee, Ice cream or other snack. Absolutely incredible tour of Sete Cidades. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and a great photographer! We had so much fun climbing the mountain in the UTV. Seeing the wonderful sites from the top and all the vegetation along the trails and roads on the way down. Highly recommend!!
