Sian Ka'an Adventure Full Day Trip to Punta Allen
Overview
Sian Ka'an is one of the largest protected areas in Mexico with a great natural diversity. The best way to discover Sian Ka' an is on board a boat which get you to explore different coastal and marine ecosystems that are habitat for many wild species of birds, turtles, dolphins, manatees and the great fish diversity of the Mesoamerican reef. Your tour includes transport from Tulum, lunch in Punta Allen and snorkeling equipment. The snorkeling activity is heavily dependent on the sea conditions which can unfortunately not always be anticipated until we reach the sea. Moreover, in the event of bad weather conditions, this tour is subject to cancellation.

What to expect
Itinerary
After passing the entrance to the Sian Ka' an Biosphere, the guide will give an introductory tour on the biosphere. After driving for another 30 to 40 minutes on an unpaved BUMPY ROAD (this is an adventure!) you will board a boat in order to explore the coastal lagoons and marine ecosystems that characterize Sian Ka'an, and discover the fauna and flora that lies within it.
IF the weather allows it, we jump into the water to snorkel on a section of the barrier reef system, home to thousands of aquatic species. Later on, we visit a beautiful sandbank the locals call "nature's swimming pools", where we take time to relax & swim. In the town of Punta Allen, located at the tip of the headland overlooking the bay, we have a local lunch and take some time to relax.

- Only if necessary: Bio degradable Sun Screen & Bio Degradable Mosquito Repellent.
- A maximum of 6 people per booking.
- May be operated by a multi-lingual guide.
- Not recommended for pregnant women.
- Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
- Snorkeling is subject to weather conditions.
- Minimum age is 5 years.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult.
- Necessary COVID-19 prevention measures are implemented during the tour (50% capacity, Antibactial gel available and facemasks complusory, sanitization of vehicles and equipment, safe distance between all participants, groups from 2 to 6 people maximum, private tour possible)
- If you present any of the following symptoms (fever, dry cough, tiredness, headaches, aches and pains), please refrain from joining the tour, contact us as soon as possible and look for medical assistance
- The vehicles will be filled to 30% 40% or 60% of their capacity according to the color system issued by the government of Quintana Roo, Mexico. During the whole excursion and for each activity, we will be using antibacterial gel.
- This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 6 travelers

Snorkeling on the reef was gorgeous. We also saw dolphins, a juvenile manatee, turtles, schools of fish, rays, and many birds.

Amazing tour with Nikita as our guide. The reserve is magical. We saw birds, dolphins, crocodiles, turtles, many fishes. We cruised through the mangrove, went to the open Caribbean sea. Amazing!

We spent a beautiful day with our guides Nikita, Felipe and Cesar. You can tell they're passionate about the wildlife and the nature that were surrounding us. They were excellent at explaining how, as tourists in the reserve, we had to behave to protect the area. We learned so much about this fragile ecosystem and were able to spot manatee (momma and baby), dolphins (including a baby!), giant sea turtles and juveniles, crocodiles, sting rays and many species of birds! It was truly incredible. Our boat captains were Gaspar and Jamie. They were so excited and passionate about the nature reserve as well. The Captain pointed out so many animals we might have missed. I always felt safe and comfortable while he maneuvered the boat around the different areas we explored. We had a delicious lunch at Punta Allen with a breathtaking view of the ocean. I was incredibly grateful to our captain who guided to snorkelling through the coral reef! Amazing! I couldn't recommend more this amazing company and their perfect ethics! Shoutout also to our skilled driver Axel that drove on the bumpy road on the way and back.victorl791

I was picked up at my villa at the scheduled time. After picking up all the other guests from different parts of Tulum we made our way to the area where we were to meet the boats. The boat captain was very knowledgeable and patient, as I had my camera with me and he made sure I got my shot, whether it be of the birds, dolphins, manatees or alligators that we saw that day. Lunch was so good, best fish I have ever tasted was served buffet style on a quaint little town beach side. Overall, staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable, the captain was professional and safe, as the water was choppy that day, he chose not to go out into the sea , unlike other captains, so I totally respected his decision. So, if u want to see wildlife, see turquoise coloured water and enjoy a buffet in a small beach town, this trip is for uDalia O
