What to expect
You will leave Pisa to go to Lucca at around 12 noon.
Lucca is one of the most striking Tuscan cities as it is completely enclosed by walls from the 17th century, it is a small quiet town rich in monuments and history.
the peculiarity of Lucca, beyond the walls, are the numerous churches present in the city, the visit of Lucca begins with a quick tour in the center where the driver will show you the main places of interest that you will subsequently reach walking in the narrow streets of center parking is prohibited. the main sites in Lucca are the main street, the churches of San Frediano and San Michele, the square of the amphitheater (an ancient Roman amphitheater today square with various cafes and restaurants ideal for lunch), the walk on the city walls.
Another place about 20 minutes from the center is the Devil's Bridge, a tenth-century bridge that attracts thousands of visitors every year, very interesting to visit.
The return is scheduled after the visit to the bridge and takes about 1 hour.

Our guide, Gabriele, was great! Tailored the tour to what we wanted to see. Seemed genuinely interested in what he was showing us. Very conversational and interesting.

This made for an excellent day. Our guide Francesco was excellent, with lots of knowledge and he took us directly to the areas we wanted to see, waited for us and got us in and out of all of the busy areas without waiting. He gave excellent recommendations, history and info about the area. I highly recommend visiting Pisa and Lucca in the same day, as Pisa didn’t take long to get photos and see the sites and Lucca is a beautiful town with many things to see and cafes for excellent fare. While in Lucca, we rented bikes on our own and explored the walls. I highly recommend our driver/guide Francesco!Nice day, friendly and helpful service! She took us to Lucca, which was very memorable! Definitely recommend!!

We had also wanted to fit a winery tour into the visit and he called around to get us into a winery with lunch. Very knowledgeable around the region and pleasure to have as a guide.

Lovely tour with a friendly and approached driver. He met us on time by the cruise ship with a name tag and guided us towards a wonderfully cooked air conditioned Mercedes’ before whisking is away to Pisa. We parked incredibly close to the field of miracles. Then off to Luca, we drove around the city where Gabrielle provided a fantastic narration of what we should see. After parking centrally we walked around some of the key sites before returning back to the ship. Wonderful tour
