This was such a fun food tour of Brindisi! Daniele was entertaining and knowledgeable as he showed us historical sites and local food shops. Without this tour, we 100% would have missed so many great places during our short stay in Brindisi. (We went back to a few of these places the next day.) We had focaccia fresh out of the oven, fresh seafood (crudo and fried), local wine, cheese and meats, and dessert. And we got to talk to the people who made (and sold) the food. It was well worth it and a truly unique way to get to know a new city. I highly recommend this tour. If you're in town for a few days or even a few hours, I suggest checking this out. Be sure to come hungry though!

We spent an amazing few hours with our guide Daniele walking around the historic area in Brindisi. He had fantastic local knowledge of both the city’s history and food. We tried cheese, hams, pastries, seafood, local wine and ice cream - and felt very full by the end of the tour! This is a great tour to do at the beginning of your holiday and gave us ideas of places to return to. Friendly Daniele seemed to know everyone in Brindisi and the venues we visited, in particular the bakery were warm and welcoming and keen to show off their produce. Highly recommended, thanks Daniele!Daniele was an outstanding guide who really made this tour exceptional. Daniele was an outstanding guide who really made this tour exceptional. From our starting point under the carob tree at the Cultural Center, to our final stop for an olive oil tasting at a great charcuterie, we could not have asked for a better experience. Every stop was a delicious delight, and truly an authentic taste of Brindisi. Daniele made it a point to keep us comfortably in the shade much as possible on a hot day, and his running narrative beyond the food was interesting as we moved from stop to stop. I came ashore skeptical, and finished the tour really impressed, informed, and grateful for the experience.
