With this tour you will go on hiking (difficulty can be adjusted) high in the mountains. The impressive nature beauty, easy access by chairlift and the variety of paths and hiking routes in the area make it the most favorite outdoor trip for the tourists.

Stop At: Seven Rila Lakes, 2650 Sapareva Banya Rila Mountain, Sofia Bulgaria
The Seven Rila Lakes are just 1, 30 h away from the capital Sofia, which makes them a great day trip in the nature. All seven of the lakes have their own name which reflects its typical shape or characteristics. They are situated between 2, 100 and 2, 500 meters above sea level. In winter, they are frozen over and covered in snow; in summer, once melted, they are a clear emerald green and are great for picnic. The tour starts in the morning from your hotel. Your professional guide will take you by car to The Panichishte Resort cable car which takes us to the Seven Rila Lakes Cirque. The hike takes around 5 h. If you wish to make your walk harder or easier your guide will be able to adjust the group program accordingly.

This was one hell of an amazing tour. Our tour guide Antonio was very patient with me as when going up the mountain I started to feel dizzy and waited for me to be okay before continuing walking up. He explained to us every lake we walked to with the names and a breif description of them. Since our drive was a little far away we played some songs and made us feel very comfortable and had a great chat too. The entire process was seamless. We were picked up from our chosen address at 8am by our guide Antonio, who was very personable and friendly. The drive took around 1 and a half hours, following which we took the chairlift up to the lakes (lasting 25 mins). Antonio was a great guide - he provided us with relevant and interesting information relating to the lakes, and was also understanding when we wanted to take breaks on the hike itself. He was willingly on hand to take photos and was a great conversationalist. I would highly recommend this tour and Antonio as a guide. I was a bit nervous the day before the trip because I am a solo traveller and I was wondering how a day trip just me and the guide could be. Actually my guide, Antonio made this day a perfect one! He was very punctual in the morning when he came and pick me up at my hotel and the drive to the Rila Lakes was very nice. He is the best guide you can ask for your next trip: we kept talking from the moment he picked me up until the moment he dropped me off in the afternoon. His knowledge goes beyond every possible expectation and he is always trying his best to make the trip an unforgettable one: he definitely accomplished it! Once we arrived at the mountains he was very caring and he often asked me if I wanted to take some breaks to catch my breath before continuing. The hike is not very hard, but the first and the third part are the most challenging ones, especially if you are not used to walking in steep paths. The panoramic view once you reach the top of the hike is speechless, and it is the perfect day trip if you want to get away from the heat of Sofia and the city life for one day. Take the trip, you will enjoy it very much.
