An unforgettable experience being able to see a snapshot of life over the border! The only negative was being transferred from a smaller bus onto a Japanese speaking bus (this was no fault of our tour guide and we are very flexible to share with anyone), however I felt we missed out on a lot of key information on the bus to and from locations and felt like an add-on rather than being on our own tour. Our guide was very friendly and tried to fill us in as much as possible during pauses from the Japanese guide.Korean tour guides were hit and miss in terms of being able to understand their English but fortunately for us we had a great tourguide named Jun who was informative, funny, and kept things on time. Korean tour guides were hit and miss in terms of being able to understand their English but fortunately for us we had a great tourguide named Jun who was informative, funny, and kept things on time. Eye opening experience to see this part of the world and even if you could do it for less by planning it yourself, would highly recommend taking the stress off yourself and joining a tour like this as there are many hoops and checkpoints to get through to get to the DMZ.
