I highly recommend this wine tasting. It was very educational about the history of the local mine making without being boring. Started on time and ended with a walk to further discuss the vineyards.

This wine course was very informational and Evelyn was very gracious, kind and extremely knowledgeable about a Cinque Terre wines. We tasted 3 different wines and visited a great old wine cellar. She grew up in the area and you could tell that she was proud of her heritage. One thing I will say is that i’m Not sure why it was called “sensory” course. But, we had lots of fun.Ivette was a truly wonderful hostess and guide through the history and culture in Cinque Terre surrounding wine. Ivette was a truly wonderful hostess and guide through the history and culture in Cinque Terre surrounding wine. She explained the unique environmental conditions of Cinque Terre, as well as the traditional practices and recent revival of the wine industry that she and her family have been part of for generations. In addition to sampling three distinctive wines from the region, Ivette shared pictures and stories that highlighted how deeply rooted Cinque Terre community is in wine culture, making this so much more than just a wine tasting. She also patiently answered all of our questions. The visit to the traditional wine cellar was one of the highlights of our entire trip and felt like Ivette welcomed us into the family by sharing such an incredible piece of her community with us. We loved Ivette, the wine, and our whole experience!
