Had a delightful day with Paul starting with oldest vineyard Olive Farm Wines & finishing with the newest & very impressive Mandoon Estate. Met the winemaker at Faber Vineyard & a beautiful lunch at Sittella (huge) Throughly recommend Vicki & Bruce Woods Hunter Valley NSW

Just did a special event day tour with Up Close & Local Tours last Sunday, I cannot rate them highly enough. Easy to book, great follow up and most especially Paul was knowledgeable and a fun tour guide for the day. The places we went & experiences were unique and made for an extremely enjoyable day. Must say lunch was a highlight as well - well above what you expect from a tour with the food outstanding. If you only do one wine tour in Perth I highly recommend you choose one with this company as I couldn't even come up with one criticism of the whole process. We were part of a 6 person tour around around 4 wineries and we had a great time. Our guide Paul was a very pleasant host and the places that we visited showed a lot of sides of the wine industry around Swan Valley (from a one-man-show to a corporate-looking place). We had a very tasty lunch and a great group of people to share it with. Our favourite was Faber Vineyard where we had such a passionate host that I really regret we didn't spend more time there. We have just returned from an excellent tour with Shannon. The highlight was a visit to the Faber vineyard, where John (the owner and winemaker) gave us a very insightful and personal experience (including tasting direct from the barrel and the tank, which is a much more interesting experience than tasting in a modern retail-style cellar door). We had lunch at Faber, which was very good. Overall, a very relaxing day. Highly recommended!
