Meandering through this wooded environment, guests can enjoy seeing the various aquatic vegetation while keeping an eye out for cypress trees, birds, and other wildlife nature has to offer in our area. A family is a favorite and great for all experience levels.

This is by far my favorite tour. Not too short, not too long, just right! Our tour guide, Madison, made a point of getting to know everyone on our tour while all the wile enlightening us with interesting pieces of local history and points of interest. My husband and I felt personally connected to this beautiful area through his passion and knowledgeable descriptions.Went on a kayak trip on Lofton Creek. We did our best to keep up with our guide, Aaron and his lady friend, but halfway in the tour, my shoulder started cramping up and I had to slow down quite a bit. Our tour guide just kept going, The more we tried to catch up, the farther ahead he got. Finally, we decided to stop, to see if he would come back to check on us. Nope. We then decided to turn around, go with the current back and leave. We spent the 2nd hour on our own. HOW DOES A TOUR GUIDE LOSE HALF OF HIS SMALL TOUR GROUP AND NOT NOTICE???? Separately, the Lofton creek tour is kind of boring and not much to see. Waste of money.First time ever kayaking and had a blast. Madison and Aaron were fantastic guides and made it a fun experience. Would definitely do it again!

We usually don’t write reviews but this time, our kids asked me to write a review. We did the Cumberland Island tour with Madison and Tyler. It was absolutely amazing! We did the Lofton Creek tour last summer and we loved it so much, our kids (high school) asked us to come back to do this Cumberland Island tour for Spring break. It was so peaceful and beautiful! While walking on the beach we found sand dollars, conch shells and even saw an endangered loggerhead turtle up close and wild horses! We did not want our tour to ever end. It was also interested to listen about history of Cumberland Island from Madison. He is a good story teller. We will definitely come back to try their other tours on our next vacation! Amelia Island Kayak Excursions is recommended in Southern Living, too! This family business is first class all the way. We have kayaked with them 2 times now and both times they scheduled last minute trips for us. The guides are extremely knowledgeable and very personable. We will 100% be back for more trips and can't wait til the next time! Thanks again!
