Stop At: Balboa Pier, 50 Main Street, Newport Beach, CA 92661
The Balboa Pier was constructed in 1906 as a sister project of the Balboa Pavilion. The Newport Bay investment Company wanted to attract lot buyers to an undeveloped spit of sandy land now called the Balboa Peninsula. In order to do so, they built both the Balboa Pavilion and the Balboa Pier.

My family had a blast. Great way to see a lot of the tourist places in Newport Beach, very affordable price. Do the 10am tour and book 90 minutes, as Newport Beach area where you will be zipping around gets crowded in the afternoon. Also, arrive 9:15am and park on the street using a mobile app, park near the meeting place and walk, this will save a bunch of money, as the paid parking at the meeting place is expensive. I parked on the street for 3 1/2 hours for like $11 in total. This was my family's 3rd Segway adventure, we have done San Francisco and also Copenhagen prior.Our guide provided us with an easy lesson and we were off to see the all Newport Beach has to offer! What a blast! My husband started pricing Segways on our way home so I would say he is hooked. Ha. We will definitely do this again!
