We offer the only Segway tours in the region and the only tourist trips along the Welland Canal.
The Twin Locks Tour is popular with both young and older people. If you like your adventure with a distinct edge of safety, Niagara Segway is your ideal host.
During our tour, we learn about the rich history of the Welland Canal and its latest engineering advances.
The Twin Locks Tour starts from the Lock 3 Museum in St Catharines (15 min from Niagara Falls) and continues South towards and up the Niagara Escarpment.
We meet outside on the main parking lot of the Museum.

Starting point of our Welland Canal Tours
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: The Welland Canal, West Street, Welland, Ontario L3K 4E3 Canada
We travel along the Welland Canal, passing the Glendale Bridge and taking a break at the Twin/Flight Locks.
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Niagara Escarpment, Ontario Canada
We go up the Niagara Escarpment to obsverve the Twin/Flight Locks.
Duration: 15 minutes
Stop At: St. Catharines Museum and Welland Canals Centre at Lock 3, 1932 Welland Canals Parkway, St. Catharines, Ontario L2R 7K6 Canada
Meeting point, feel free to visit before or after the tour.

- Not wheelchair accessible
- Minimum age is 12 years
- All participant weight MUST be between 100lbs and 250lbs (45kg and 115kg)
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Not recommended for pregnant travelers
- Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 8 travelers

The Welland Canal Segway Tour was a phenomenal experience! Guillaume, our guide, was a patient teacher as our family of 7 learned how to navigate the Segways. He learned our names immediately and our safety was a priority as we rode in the parking lot until everyone was comfortable before hitting the trail. Guillaume was very knowledgeable and stopped at various points along the canal explaining the history of the canals and locks system that connect Lake Ontario to Lake Eerie. He also engaged us in conversation, genuinely interested in us, which added to the enjoyment of the tour. An unexpected surprise included Guillaume taking photos and video for us to remember the experience. Visitors (and even locals) to the Niagara Falls area should not miss this amazing experience!!!Great experience and fun to ride the Segway. Great historical perspective and visuals of the canal. Highly recommend this tour. Our guide, Guillaume, was very attentive to our safe operation of the Segway and he provided us with a wealth of historical information about the canal.

Guillaume was very friendly and knowledgeable. He explained everything and made sure we felt safe and comfortable on the segways! The canal was beautiful and we got to see 2 large boats as well! Would definitely recommend and do again!
