Blue Fin Divers is a PADI 5 star IDC Resort. Since our opening, in 2006, we have taken pride in sharing with divers our passion: scuba diving!
During your Discover Scuba Diving program you will dive directly in the sea in pool like conditions (great visibility, lack of currents and wave)!
Our reef is the perfect dive site to start diving as it is interesting and easy! Mediteranean fishes, octopus and turtules are often spotted.
Our team of multilingual PADI professionals would be happy to guide you for your first experience underwater!

What to expect
The PADI Discover Scuba Diving is a program for beginner and non-certified divers.
It is your first experience underwater!
The Discover Scuba Diving takes about 2 hours:
It begins with a 35-minute briefing conducted by a PADI-certified professional. You will learn the basics of scuba diving and everything you need to know before your first underwater breath.
We then suit up and dive on our reef, right in front of our shop.
Once in the water we will practice breathing at the surface and do some easy skills in shallow water. We will then go on a 45 minutes dive led by your instructor, up to 7 meters on our house.
Blue Fin Divers's house reef is located by the beach of Agios Prokopios, one of the most beautiful in Greece. It is a calm, easy, and fun environment to scuba dive with clear visibility and no currents. It is the perfect place to discover the underwater world
On our rocky reef, we can see a multitude of Mediterranean fish, colorful sponges, octopus, barracuda, and even sometimes sea turtles.
All the scuba diving equipment and underwater pictures are included in the price

Our wife and I visited BlueFin Divers at Agios Prokopios in Naxos for the first time. I had signed up for the Marianna Wreck dive and my wife Discover Scuba. Both Panos and James, the in-house professional divers, were very nice and professional in their conduct, and my wreck dive went off without a hitch (the dive shop provided the tanks and wetsuits since I brought my own BCD and regulator). The waters were absolutely beautiful with amazing clear visibility and I got to see one of the largest octopuses in my life at the beginning of the dive. James lead the dive with a thorough tour of the wreck, and he also did a great job introducing my wife to scuba diving by gently and patiently guiding her through an underwater tour in the shallow part of the waters. My wife, her father and I have our PADI Open Water certs and went to BluFin in Prokopios, Naxos. My wife and I last dived 3 years ago; my father-in-law 10 years prior. We were quite apprehensive given the time lag. The BluFin team gave us all a “refresher course” on the beach. After an afternoon with the BluFin team all our confidence was restored and we were champing at the bit to go on a proper dive or two. We went to a quiet part of the island of Naxos with James, Hugo and Dimitris. There was an abandoned resort that had been accosted by local, highly talented graffiti artists- what an amazing experience. Ask the guys to take you there. Thereafter we had two fantastic dives. The highlight for me was seeing the delight on our divemaster’s face when he saw a particular breed of fish. Fabulous to see your host’s enjoyment of what they do on a day-to-day basis. These guys are great. They couldn’t have done more for us (especially my wife’s seasickness!) I’ve no doubt that the rest of the team that I didn't meet are fabulous, but I need to give a special shout-out to James, Hugo, Dimitris and Panos. I was happy to attempt my first diving experience with them. There wasn't a huge amount to see in the area other than fish and sea weed but hopefully that's for next time !
