Have you always wanted to try scuba diving? With this experience, you'll be able to discover the lesser known underwater world of Cape Town without needing any prior diving experience. Join me, a local PADI Professional who will show you the kelp forests, seals, penguins, small sharks and fish varieties that Cape Town has to offer.

What to expect
Itinerary
We meet in Simon's Town, a sweet touristic area. Where I will give you a safety briefing, we fit all the gear and also give you an overview of what we're going to do and what to expect on the dive. After that, we spend some time in shallow water doing some skills to get you comfortable and relaxed before the dive. We will then go for a dive for a maximum depth of 7 meters where we can visit the marine flora and fauna of Cape Town's water.

• Boulders Beach Penguin Colony, Simon's Town 7995 South Africa

My wife and I did the discover scuba dive experience with Kobus in Long beach in Simon’s Town. He made us feel at ease with the gear and what we were doing, we went 6 meters deep and practised the basic skills needed for this experience. He was very patient with us as it is really really hard work to deal with to inexperience people under water and he did it the best i could imagine. I will definitively recomment him to any scuba divers or anybody who wants to try the experience coming to Cape Town! Thank you so much!Kendall_M

We had a wonderful scuba diving experience with Kobus. He was very attentive and precise with his instructions. We were able to see some pajama sharks and other fish. Kobus also gave us a wonderful guided tour on way back Cape Town. We definitely recommend this experience.
