Scuba Diver Certification Course
Overview
Unlike Discover Scuba Diving, you will walk away from this experience with your Scuba Diver Certification though PADI. This experience is the best option for those who wish to become certified divers but want to save the time and money that the PADI Open Water Certification would cost.

What to expect
This is a two day certification including knowledge development in the classroom, confined water skills and a boat dive.
Day 1: Knowledge Development: You will learn the basic principles of scuba diving in our classroom using a manual, videos and your instructor.
Day 2: Confined Water Dives: You will learn and practice the basic dive skills that you briefed on day 1. These include mask clearing, checking your buoyancy, alternate air-breathing and other safe diving practices.
Day 2, Part 2: Dive in the National Marine Park: You and your instructor take a 20 minute boat ride to participate in a 2 tank scuba dive in the Marine National Park where you get to use your skills and explore! (
This certification allows you to scuba dive all over the world under the supervision of a PADI Professional in a local shop or resort. If you’re interested in becoming PADI Open Water Certified, talk to your instructor about completing the full course.

Paul & Sharon could not be more accommodating to all divers — both new and old! I had NEVER been diving before walking into their shop, and with their guidance (and homemade cookies and pineapple) not only was I certified but also came back for advanced certification and now I couldn’t imagine my life without diving. Paul is super patient and made learning easy and non threatening (and oh boy, was I scared!). Within two weeks I was night diving and going to 80+ feet and now I’ve turned into the little mermaid thanks to these two. Their staff is super friendly, knowledgeable and highly professional. And their equipment is top notch, having dove with other shops in the area, I am always grateful when schedules align and I can be back on the boat with Paul, Lalo and Wilbert! I haven’t been diving in 28 years and needed to recertify my PADI qualifications before I’d feel safe on a dive. Sebastian took me and one young fellow through a thorough classroom discussion then, after a short 2-1/2 block walk to the beach, covered all basic safety procedures in about ten feet of clear water right off of the beach. Instructions were extremely thorough and easy to follow. Thanks Sebastian for getting me ready to go on today’s reef dive.
