Itinerary
Ride our beautiful, gentle spirited, well-trained “Paso Fino” horses on a two-hour tour. Explore breathtaking countryside views just minutes from San Juan, on a 2, 200-acre private ranch that leads you through beautiful trails to a historic plantation home and ends at a Mojito bar.
Upon arrival at Campo Rico Trail Rides, meet your experienced guides and listen to a
safety briefing and instructions on how to ride a horse. Then receive a helmet, mount
your horse and follow your guide through beautiful trails that pass picturesque lagoons,
tropical fields and mountainsides with panoramic views of the island’s coastal plains.
Listen as your guide shares the unique history and behaviors of the “Paso Fino" horse.
Stop for a photo and learn the history of “Mi Casa, ” a traditional Spanish plantation
estate home with an impressive stairway entry. Your ride concludes at the stables, and
then you'll head to the Mojito Bar to relax and toast to your horseback adventure. Beer, mojitos
and other Caribbean drinks are available for purchase.

Additional information
- Comfortable riding attire recommended. Closed toe shoes are required. Long pants are suggested.
- Minimum age to participate is 8 years old.
- Not wheelchair accessible
- Maximum weight is 250 pounds (113 kilograms)
- Pick up time will be notified the day before the activity IF HOTEL (within Zone /List) was provided at least 72 hours in advanced. Otherwise guests can meet us at the Hacienda. No transfer credit applies. If guests miss the transfer, thet can meet us directly at the Haciebda (If time permits)
- Not recommended for travelers with back problems
- Not recommended for pregnant travelers
- No heart problems or other serious medical conditions
- Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
- Guests staying outside of San Juan metropolitan area Pick Up Zone/List (districts of Isla Verde, Condado, Miramar & Old San Juan) must make arrangements to meet the group
- This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund
- This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 9 travelers
- Confirmation will be received at time of booking

You can present either a paper or an electronic voucher for this activity.
Cancellation
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours in advance of the start time of the experience.

The scenery was beautiful, it’s a beautiful property. I booked the tour for my husband’s birthday. The tour was amazing, but I left with a terrible taste in my mouth. Not because of the tour guide, or the tour itself. Because of the stable manager, I believe her name is Alex. My husband’s phone fell out of his zipped pocket during the tour, and the guide offered help. She was very kind and understanding. We came back and she asked the manager if she could use one of the golf carts to go back through the trail. The manager went off in Spanish saying “This is why I hate contract tours. The tourists lose their belongings, and we’re stuck with them longer because of it. They won’t leave the property. Why would you take your phone on the tour?” Then she told the guide she wasn’t allowed to help us. Now, we weren’t necessarily expecting help. We understand they have business to run, and if she had said no to using the golf cart it was fine with us. We know it was our fault, and we’re perfectly fine with it. We were just going off of what we were told, and were dumbfounded to hear what she said out loud and right in front of us. If I knew she felt this way about tourists (who by the way are in big part paying for her salary), I would have never given my business to this establishment. Please take your money elsewhere, there are LOTS of other tours available in PR.kev_d

I cannot remember the name of our tour guide but she was a young looking woman who said she also owned horses and competed in derbies. SHE WAS GREAT!!! I was so nervous being on the horse and even though one of our horses, Gilbaud I think, went a little astray and wanted to follow the other group...

She was very informative and even took our pictures. Prior to this, no one in my group ever rode a horse: now we feel like professionals thanks to her!Marlene

This makes me very upset. My boyfriend and I came from miami and we had plans to do this. I had a family emergency and had to fly back home that same morning and couldn’t get my money back because apparently NO REFUNDS AND EMERGENCIES DONT HAPPEN😅 why would anyone cancel this if it wasn’t for an ...

I had a family emergency and had to fly back home that same morning and couldn’t get my money back because apparently NO REFUNDS AND EMERGENCIES DONT HAPPEN😅 why would anyone cancel this if it wasn’t for an emergency? They just want your money so bad🥱🥱 no one helped me and I was on hold for soooo long for them to say “its our policy”
