What to expect
We will be white-water rafting in a class level 2 & 3 river-rapid. This is a family-friendly rafting tour. The certified guides will bring have full safety equipment along and incredible views along the river. You will start off with 20min safety speech and half-way you will have a break at the waterfall pool and possibly get to see some wildlife sightings. You will the end tour having lunch in the restaurant, starting point.

We brought our 3 children ages 7-14 and they all had a blast! Our guides were professional, knowledgeable and took the time to make the whole experience fun … even the bus ride!

Another awesome day! This was our second time rafting with Costa Rica Explorer and it was as amazing as we remembered! Decided to take the Savegre river this time - was less intense than the Chorro river experience two years ago. Family friendly but solid level III rapids. The head guide - Jeudy - is an exceptional Costa Rican business owner and his team is extremely friendly and professional. Safety is obviously a key priority. I would highly recommend this company. Also if you are looking for surf lessons, Jeudy is one of the best instructors in town.Well organized, exciting, fun and safe. Well organized, exciting, fun and safe. After doing the Chorro last year I decided to try the Savegre this time and the river and Costa Rica Explorer delivered a great experience again. The trip was nicely paced with time for wildlife viewing, enjoying a great riverside lunch, checking out a nearby waterfall and some river swimming.Great time! Super fun, safe and well taken care of.
