Odori Park is Sapporo’s most well-loved park and boasts a fragrant rose garden, fountains throughout the middle and various interesting statues.The park stretches about a kilometer and in early February, the park becomes the main site of the Sapporo Snow Festival.

Sapporo Beer, one of the oldest brands in the country, was born in Hokkaido in 1877. The museum introduces the history of beer in Japan and the process of beer making.

Theme park by Ishiya, a local chocolate company whose trademark product -the Shiroi Koibito cookie - is one of the most famous souvenirs from Hokkaido. The park consists of a free area with a shop, café and restaurant, and a paid area where you can observe the cookie production process.

This spacious park, measuring about 70 hectares, stretches out next to the Hokkaido Jingu shrine. With amenities such as a zoo, a recreational canal, a public square, and sports facilities, the park is the perfect place to partake in truly locals' activities. It is also a popular spot for cherry blossom viewing.

Akihiro was a amazing host - and helped us with anything we wanted - my son wanted to visit some Skateshops - we did more shopping than eating - although the Rem we taseted was delicious

Faiz gave me a great tour based on things I wanted to see an do. We did a mix of walking, and Publix transport. He also gave me insight that you can pretty much walk Sapporo underground, so if it is raining or snowing, you don't have to stay stuck outdoors unless you want to. One of the last stop...

My guide, Emilio, showed Sapporo to me from a local's viewpoint. We went to the Fish Market and sampled the food there. So many seafood produce, 1 day wasn't enough!
