Our 3 days / 2 nights trek was easy to arrange. We contacted Sinh and he came to our hotel and explained everything in a straightforward way. We had a lovely guide called Choo, a friendly Hmong lady who knew the area very well, had good English, and chose some great paths. She was kind and patient with my wife on the paths. She had a nice sense of humour too. We returned to the same homestay each evening and the room was cosy and comfortable with plenty of hot water. We ate breakfast and dinner with the homestay family and it was plentiful and tasty. The trek was challenging, we usually walked for about 5-6 hours with a break for lunch and photos. The trek wasn't off the beaten track very much but it was interesting to see the farms and the gorgeous scenery. Overall it was a very good value trek with great service and we thoroughly enjoyed it.It is difficult to choose the right words. The sapa villages are an absolute must see. It is difficult to choose the right words. The sapa villages are an absolute must see. Spectacularly beautiful views and amazing people. The guides Pao and Chu were extremely friendly, kind and helpful. During the tours it was great to talk to them and get to know the ways of the black mong people. Also the Homestay at Su was lovely. I would give more that a 5 star rating if I could. I just again want to highlight my two guides Chu and Pao. I hope I get to see them and their families in the future again. Genuinely kind people.Amazing experience, Sang was such a knowledgeable and kind guide. We had such a great time walking through the different villages and all the beautiful scenery. The entire experience was amazing! We were so well taken care off by Mao and her team of lovely staff. Chu our guide was incredible! She brought us to the most off the beaten tracks, cheered us up with stories and jokes, made us the cutest head crowns out of leaves and even invited us to her house to meet her family. The home stays on both nights were super comfortable with the most beautiful host families. The most unforgettable experience was going down into the rice fields to help carry sacks of harvest back to the top. It was really hard work but great fun! Special thanks to Mao who let me wash my clothes on the first day and sent my laundry back to me on the second day! A big thank you to Mao and Chu for this memorable adventure. I highly recommend this for solo travellers because it’s a great way to meet loads of people and make new friends.
