We had on and off rain all day, so the on and off bus was the best way to see the city. I loved all of the Sound of Music information and trivia.

First of all, we found it very difficult to find a bus stop without having to walk all the way to the terminus at the Mirabellplatz Gardens. Once we found the bus stop, there was no timetable so ended up waiting 30 mins in the cold and rain. It would have been useful to have added a map with timetable. Later on, we had to wait 40 mins for a bus as the times changed towards the end of the day. The commentary wasn’t particularly interesting and left out certain facts about Salzburg.Good tour with some great stops. Nice scenery and helpful drivers. Good schedule, some old town stops were not available due to Christmas Markets

We always do the hop on bus for the first day to get your bearings and see the city with commentary. We decided on the two day ticket as it also included public buses. The drivers and staff where ok, not unfriendly but equally not overly friendly, pleasant though Two types of commentary , historical informative and also the sound of music Trivia. We did both , great in both instances. The stops where easily negotiated and to follow on the map The first day there was a farmers demo and our driver was really apologetic and also made us aware etc , no problem Really good tourDespite of the rain and not so friendly weather tour was nice and the driver was ready to help. I have bought a ticket via web-site and because it was one of first buses the start point was a railway station. Despite of the rain and not so friendly weather tour was nice and the driver was ready to help. I have bought a ticket via web-site and because it was one of first buses the start point was a railway station. Though she told that I need to pick up a paper-form ticket on Mirabell-Platz and she is going to waiting until I am back.
