What to expect
On this personalized 45-minute horse-drawn carriage tour of Victoria, experience the beauty and history of Victoria's James Bay neighborhood and the refreshing breeze of the Salish Sea on a relaxing horse-drawn carriage ride.
Travel through the charming streets of James Bay, a quaint, old-fashioned neighborhood of well-preserved architecture, charming gardens and historical sites. As you approach the water, hear the sound of the waves crashing against the shore, and enjoy the stunning ocean views, with the Olympic Mountains towering in the distance. The Salish Sea is one of the world’s largest and biologically rich inland seas. Its name honors the first inhabitants of the region, the Coast Salish people.
This private tour will be personalized for you, with the right mix of historical information, local folklore and simple relaxation as you sit back and enjoy the clip-clop of your horse's hooves.
Look for the burgundy Tally-Ho kiosk. Upon arrival you will be escorted to your carriage where you will be introduced to your horse and have the opportunity to capture memorable photos before you embark upon your journey.

Christine was a professional and competent carriage driver. She noted historic areas and information during the ride and made the ride even more enjoyable. Tony, the Belgian horse did all the work and was very calm and well behaved at all times. The slow clop clop of his horseshoes on pavement takes you back to bygone days. We highly recommend a ride to slow your pace while seeing the sights. We've been to Victoria at least 10 ten times, but this was the first time we took the carriage tour. Warm fleece blankets were provided and we were allowed to pet our horse 'Jinx' before and after the ride. Our guide was Carol, and she was delightful! Very professional and funny too. As many times as we've been to Victoria, we learned some new facts and lore, which made it fun. I would definitely recommend a carriage ride to anyone visiting Victoria. We had the pleasure of being in Emily & Kashe's carriage recently. Emily was so knowledgable about the area, and chatted to us for the whole tour. it gave us a great insight to this beautiful city.

The driver was knowledgeable and interacted with us the whole ride. She was very professional. We would definitely go again for sure. All the staff were amazing. They offered to take a few pictures right off the bat so that we'd have memories.

We are going to be back in town again later this year, and we will be wanting Elliott and Jerry for our next ride.Recieved a gift certificate for carriage ride with Tally-Ho as a christmas gift.. Recieved a gift certificate for carriage ride with Tally-Ho as a christmas gift.. We used our coupon today. What a lovely gift! The booking was easy to do. Once we got to our check in, we were met by our driver, Katelyn. We had pictures taken gladly and then off we went. Our tour guide was very informative. Our carriage was clean and the horse was well taken care of and at all time we felt like the driver and horse were a team, both were working together to make our expereince as special and as safe possible. We enjoyed it immensely. We were dropped off at one of our favorite restaurants with big smiles on our faces. And experience we won't forget. Would recomend Tally-Ho to anyone wanting a safe, and fun horse draw carriage
