We will be exploring the beautiful village wards of Saligao which form the residential area of the village that consist of splendid Indo-Portuguese homes, a chapel, a cemetery and paddy fields overlooking a hill.

We will visiting a beautiful Indo-Portuguese home for High-Tea hosted by the owners of the house and a show around of the beautiful property

Saligao Institute highlighting the prosperity of the village is prominent landmark.
Saligao Institute is located in the residential words flanked by Indo-Portuguese mansions. The narrow walking lanes are colourful, splendid and a sight to behold.

I absolutely loved this walking tour. I learnt a lot about the Saligao community, chapels, the architecture of old Portuguese houses in the community. I had a wonderful time at the beautiful Portuguese house that we visited at the end of the walking tour.
