Saint-Emilion Morning wine tour, winery & tastings from Bordeaux
Overview
Saint Emilion is a quaint, charming little village. This tour includes a 1h guided tour of the town, however, we will not be able to fully explore everywhere, as we have strict appointments at each chateau. If you wish to stay longer in the village, you can take a train back to Bordeaux after the tour by your own means. For any further information about this, please feel free to contact us.
Perfect to get back to Bordeaux just in time for lunch.

Arrival in the village of Saint-Emilion, followed by a short guided walk along the picturesque streets

Tour of a Grand Cru or Grand Cru Classé winery (top growth), wine barrel hall and fermenting room visit, followed by a wine tasting!

This is the second time I’ve done a wine tour with Bordeaux Wine Trails and again the tour was excellent. The guide knew his stuff, even though he’d only been on the job 3 days. We visited a lovely winery and walked through Saint Émilien.

I would highly recommend this wine tour. There really aren't enough nice things to say about our guide Marilys. She promptly picked us up a ten with a HUGE smile on her face - warmly welcoming our 2 young children. Marilys has extensive wine knowledge - and answered every single question with a flourish - admitting to the ones she didn't know (probably 1 of the hundreds we had). She scheduled 3 Chateaus in St. Emilion - all different and brilliant. The picnic lunch she arranged were tailored for my vegetarian husband and children. I wish I could have Marilys as a guide for all our tours. We learned so much and had a fantastic time. Her tour of the old town of St Emilion was a treasure.Jonathan was super friendly and amazing.
